Year in review 2011

There’s a short suits kinkmeme fill somewhere but I don’t have the link. Oops? It probably doesn’t count, b/c they’re not finished and most of them are forever WIP but the stuff on my ‘I hope to one day finish this/write this/work on this but I am currently lacking ideas’ amnesty post which was originally something that was supposed to be a daily writing warm-up but that didn’t pan out that well.

And I really want to talk about Thor fic/Inception fic, so those will probably pop up even though they won’t be posted until sometime next year. ~~if at all. INCEPTION FIC WHY YOU SO HARD TO WRITE~~

Total Fics: 6
Total Word Count: ~150,200 (if you include both what my current counts are for nano (aka Thor fic) and inception fic, then it’s closer to ~250,000. Holy crap. Though you probably have to subtract some from This is Real Life because I wrote a good portion of it in 2010 so idk.)
Fandoms: Four written and posted in; six written/attempted total.
Challenges/fests: 3 (3 of 4 finished; I’m still hoping for inception fic even if nano fic has taken over my brain.) Though, NaNoWriMo is a challenge and I won that! yay hooray!

The day is mostly over, but Merry Christmas to all! I hope it was wonderful for all of you!

So LJ's new look is giving me headaches - and I've finally figured out why I don't like ff.net. It's because the layout/colors/font irritate my eyes - and therefore I've opened a dreamwidth account. fuzzy_paint The name's the same because a. I'm creative like that, and b. I still like my username, so. Am currently importing all the entries.

I'm hoping that either LJ or I will figure out a way to work around it when I have more time, but there's also little harm in just using both journals. IDK how often I'll actually post at DW that I don't cross-post to LJ, except I'll probably blather more about the ~technical aspects of writing on DW to spare the flisters the spam that I tend to use. Anything that isn't crossposted to LJ will use the dreamwidth only tag (if I remember to use it!)

Anyone that wants to friend me there/follow me there (must figure out DW terminology) is welcome to do so, but like I said, probably mostly just me blathering about writing and not much different than here. I fully intend to crosspost all fannish things and probably most entries anyway, so it's probably completely unnecessary to do so.
